The discussion starts appropriately with the movie that started it all before moving on to the sequels and series that came out of it. Ultimately, the conversation makes it to Cars Land at Disney California Adventure. Ultimately, they share their own Cars/Cars Land-inspired dishes that they each created (and can be found on the home page).

For Sarah, it was a special sandwich and The Sword in the Stone. Mr. Daps made a pumpkin and burrata pappardelle dish and watched Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
Franchise Retrospective: A nostalgic trip is taken down Route 66 as the geeks look back at 20 years of Pixar’s Cars. The discussion talks about the nostalgia for Route 66 in the original film, covers the spy-thrill fun of Cars 2, and the emotional gut-punch of the power of legacy in Cars 3.
Theme Park Immersion: No discussion about the Cars franchise would be complete without talking about Cars Land at the Disneyland Resort (and soon Piston Peak at Walt Disney World Resort). The experience, the offerings, and the food are discussed in this beloved land.
Sarah’s Recipe: Cozy Cone-Style Buffalo Ranch Popcorn: Sarah shares how she created a copycat treat of one of the popcorn offerings that can be found at Cozy Cone in Cars Land! This is done with microwave popcorn and some readily available seasonings!
Mr. Daps’ Recipe: Route 66 High-Octane Pit Stop Potatoes: This could be a bit ambitious, but Mr. Daps was inspired by the Coca-Cola BBQ baked beans that once were served in Cars Land. He then coupled that with some other favorites that seemed like they would fit in Cars Land: baked potatoes and burnt ends!
